Väls is one of five run-of-river hydropower plants owned by DORE that are located on the Norsälven river in the Torsby municipality.
Väls was commissioned in 1962 and has four dams which permit water storage and regulation. The plant is powered by one Propeller turbine and has an annual production of 3.2 GWh.
