The New Rendy solar farm, owned by Newton Solar Energy Ltd, has an installed generation capacity of 4.8 MWp making use of Trina solar modules combined with inverters supplied by Schneider.
Operations and Maintenance (“O&M”) functions are contracted with PSH Energy Ltd ("PSH"), a leading service provider to the renewable energy sector. Asset management for the New Rendy solar farm is performed in-house by Downing.
The project makes an annual community benefit contribution of c.£5,000 to the local community.
